Pernell Roberts has passed away. Wow, I can't believe he was 81! It seems like you get stuck in a time warp and you remember these folks as they were on TV. You forget time moves on. I always thought he was so handsome and sexy and rugged, especially compared to that pussy Little Joe.

OMG! This used to be one of my favouite TV programmes, I'd run round the house yelling, "Banana's coming on" (it was the best I could pronounce it at the time). Yeah, depressing how our heros age, eh?
I loved Pernell. Especially on Trapper John M.D. I do remember him fondly from Bonanza, too, though. He was a lovely actor to watch.

And I have to admit, Carol, I'm surprised you SAW Bonanza overseas! I didn't realize it was that popular.
