what a dick

I can't believe Dr. Phil actually tried to save his ass over this whole Britney Spears mess by saying he planned to air a show so that parents in a similar situation could be helped. Who would that be exactly? Other than Mrs. Lohan. And why in the world would the Spears family be so stupid as to ask HIM to help their daughter? Why wouldn't they find a qualified psychologist in the private sector? Does everything have to be about publicity for their family?

"Does everything have to be about publicity for their family?"

Yes. Yes, it does.

Stacey

PS: There are many families who have bipolars in them, and they go exactly what the Spears are going through, only without cameras capturing it frame by frame. I know some bipolars, and they are wrecking balls that can damage a family in the worst way so that, even years after they are on meds and are classified as stable enough to life on their own, the other family members have long since fallen apart at the seams and they no longer talk or remain in tact in a basic functioning manner.

Do you think she's bipolar or is this the result of "too much, too soon" with booze and drugs tossed in? BTW, I'm eating that damn chicken parmesan AGAIN!!! Every time I'm off now, I have to make this stuff. Thank God it's easy...

A friend who's a RN is friends with a RN who works at the hospital she "stayed" at and confirmed the test results we have long suspected: her labs were clean for substance abuse and she's level II bipolar with rapid cycling. She's a ticking timebomb at this point without meds and professional mental help. And she will take everyone around her down with her when she finally does crash and burn.

Oooh, I hadn't heard that, Stacey. I think my F-I-L was showing signs of that before they put him in the pysch ward and doped him up so much, it was disgusting. The man couldn't even form sentences, and they kept saying they were 'adjusting his meds' each time we complained.

Yeah, he's proven that many times, Becky.
