Well, I hope you scoured the bin for the smallest one you could find in that case. That's what I do and I slice them on a diagonal to make them bigger in size. In fact I made this very dish for lunch today. Jinx! :-)Stacey
I had to give them a pass. They were *HUGE*. I didn't want a repeat of the "spaghetti squash incident of '06" when I paid almost $10 for one lousy squash....oy.
Shit, you Americans sure do love your steroild injected foods, don't you? ;-) We have small produce up here so luckily I don't have to pay much. I think Canadian prices per pound are still on par with US's. Perhaps it's time to start thinking bigger isn't always better? *LOL*Stacey
Mmmmmmmmm... I love me some spaghetti squash!! I bought one I don't know how long ago and forgot about it in the back of my fridge. I found it today after I had to hunt down a shitty smell coming from my fridge. Doh!Stacey
The guy told me that eggplant is actually in season towards the end of summer, probably like the spag squash, so I'm gonna wait and try it then. I hate to have to skimp on the eggplant because it looks soooo good.
I eat eggplant all year long up here. Stacey
